Built by the Decibel Foundation in collaboration with Aptos Labs, the platform aims to close the gap between what onchain traders need and what existing platforms deliver, centering its design on speed, transparency, and capital efficiency. With the testnet now live, users can access the protocol’s liquidity provider vault, interact with its fully on-chain risk engine, and test a programmable backend that lets developers build and monetize their own integrations.
The testnet rollout also includes low-latency Chainlink price feeds, advanced order types, encrypted mempool protection against frontrunning, cross-chain accounts with 1-click trading, permissionless user-managed vaults, and subaccounts for cleaner strategy and asset segmentation. A unified portfolio view is available as well, with more analytics set to arrive later.
Decibel introduces a dynamic fee model that decreases as trading volume increases, with maker fees dropping all the way to zero at higher tiers—an incentive aimed at deepening liquidity across the system.
With the engine now online, Decibel is calling on traders, builders, and ecosystem partners to push the limits of the testnet and help shape the next phase of its on-chain trading infrastructure.
